    There's a reason why all dual plane intakes don't have the divider cut down for more top end horsepower. Every thing is a compromise, if you have more top end horsepower you're, more than likely, gonna lose bottom end horsepower. Would you rather have your engine run it's best right off idle or at 6000+ rpm's? You can't have it both ways, so pick where you need the engine to run the best and build the horsepower/torque for that rpm range. This goes for manifold selection/modification, camshaft selection, valve size, etc.
