Sincere Thanks to Poverty Flats

I've always enjoyed the Poverty Flats swapmeet threads with all the cool photos. It's fun to see what's out there even if the swapmeets are too far away to attend. Recently I was checking out Paul's photos of a Kansas City swap and in one of his photos of a table full of intakes I spotted one that I had been looking for. On a whim I PM'd Paul and asked if he by chance had any info on the seller of the items. To my surprise he had gone to the trouble to get a name a phone number for most of the spots that he had photographed.

Long story short....... the seller had taken the intake that I wanted back home with him and I was able to buy it from him.

Thanks Paul. Most people wouldn't bother going to the trouble that you do. I appreciate it.

Well...being extremely shy myself....I actually prefer the word "introverted"....describes those of us who suffer from it a bit better.

 

I had the huge sausage, but Bruce couldn't come up with the tray of cheese. He said he kept cutting the cheese, but didn't have a tray.

 

I bought a awesome Model A front end from Poverty Flats around 1-2 yrs ago........Awesome piece.........I've been tryin to meet him in person ever since......closest I came was at Greaserama 2yrs back & I seen the truck with the PovertyFlats sign, but couldn't locate the guy.

well, Carl, you have really missed out. Paul is a great fellow. Too bad you haven't had the chance to meet up with him. He may have been very close to his truck and was secretly spying on you...

 

Engine Pro 5X, i work on those sausage extruders and it really depends on which machine your using. better change that to "sausage capital of the USA" because if you have ever been to "october fest" in germany you will agree.

 

Now don't let all of this praise go to your head Paul...really Paul is a hell of a nice guy...Later bud
