I manage to get by in my little single garage, its quite long though and I have 2 motorcycles parked in front of the car. I also have a cupboard off to the side for lots of storage
I think just about every builder has space issues- consider wall hanging tools-air hose and small compressor near ceiling-hang just about every thing you can lift- high shelves. get rid of all the junk. fee up floor space. I am always surprised of a good builder who has minium tools -but lots of metal knowledge-t
The worst part about a one car garage is when you take the big parts off, you gotta stick em in the back yard, did that with my fenders didn't look at em for a month went back there and my wife had been watering them along with the gr*** with the sprinklers. rust everywhere.
