Guys, I just purchased a dual bowl made to fit to my old single bowls push rod / pedal assembly; and now I have a few questions.

The goal here is to have a nice manual brake system with front disc and rear drums. So far the car stopped wonderfully with the current system then the MC went out so I thought time to upgrade.

    Background:
    1964 Ford Fairlane 500 289/C4
Front Brakes - Granada disc and calipers
    Rear Brakes - Factory Drums

Original Single Bowl Manual Brake Master Cyl being converted to new Manual Dual Bowl.

What I see now is an original single line from the master cyl to a 1->3 distribution block. (1 line to each front disc and 1 to rear of the car)

    Questions:

Do I need a proportioning valve?

    If yes
How would I plumb the proportioning valve?
Can I install a linelock/roll control kit with the proportioning valve?

Thank you in advance for your help.

It's a good idea to install an adjustable proportioning valve with any front disc upgrade. The prop valve goes inline from the rear brake M/C port to the rear brakes. If your master does not have an internal residual valve in the rear brake port, install an aftermarket 10 lb. rpv close to the outlet port and before the prop valve.
The front brake port goes to the fronts. Make sure there is no internal residual in the front system M/C port. Your linelock would be installed inline with the front brake
    s. :)
