Great job to the crew at Sins of Steel. I attended several years ago, the same show in Davisburg under the other name, and left a little disappointed. Once again this year, I Made the 3 hour trek and even brought my daughter along. For an overcast day with a rainy forecast, the attendance was great, quality of cars (and bikes) was great, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many cars were there. Minibike races were fun to watch, the music was good and everyone was friendly. Had a great time. It is wonderful to see the event mature into what it was today with the feel, crowd, and appearance that made the Hunnert Pileups my all time favorites. Next year I think your show will be off the chart!
Thanks for coming out. It's an honor to be compared to the Pile-up. All the folks involved with Sins are very proud of the show and try to create something we would want to drive to and spend are hard earned money at. See ya next year
Started the day expecting a down year, with lots of rain and mud, came home with a sunburn, and a feeling that the show betters itself every year. I am glad that there are more nice rides showing up, and hopefully the cluster-f*#k "rat-rod" piles of parts continue to die out.
It was a good show. Not great, but good. I took very few pictures. Mostly of people. Oh yeah, one of a flathead engine U have no idea what it is. These were taken with my iPhone.
Just got back home from the show (9 hours on the road)- had a blast, looking forward to next year. Good to see my Detroit Poorboy brothers and meet a few more Hambers in the flesh. I have lots of pics, too tired to upload them right now.
Really wanted to come down this year, however it was still rainin' at noon where I live. Getin' caught in the rain with no top is one thing, but leavin' in it is just stoopid. I'm sure there will be another one next year. Lookin' forward to it. Just hope these 'ol bones will permit the trip....Coop
That Riv makes me this Ford fan want to jump ship and get on the Buick bandwagon! Wish I could have made it out.
