For the love of god would one of youse guys save the Superbird.

 

If it wasn't for all these parts cars, so many still on the street would not still be there.
Good thing no one was taking pictures of the cars and trucks I was parting out in the 70s - 2010s. Donor truck,

Well I finally got tired of looking at the Caddie so I called Pull a Part and they gave me $300 for it and hauled it off. The next week I saw the ad for it in the used cars that they sell and it sold in 2 days for the asking price. Little did I know…..

Found these last year. Cyclone GT 428 4-speed, Cyclone GT 390 4-speed and a old Mustang with a 302 4-speed. All within 35 miles of each other.

 

Yep, they plan on fixing those up one day.....

 

Or the usual bullshit "It has a lot of sentimental value"........ which would explain why it has been left rotting out in the elements to slowly return to Mother Earth.

Going by the three cars looks like a collector with expensive tastes.

 

The car they are talking about in the title was the last unaccounted for Ferrari 250GT California.
He wasn't a truck manufacturer he was into the moving/freight business. He started collecting cars in the 50's. The total sale brought 25 mil.
He had amassed a bunch of fire trucks too of which most if not all have been crushed (40 years in an open field) there also was a lot of popular cars.
In that photo, next to the Facel is a Georges Irat.

Sure is, and it has a towbar too . I wonder how many nice '32 or '34 Fords a man could buy for the same value as what that Citroen has.
