Front clip looks pretty decent, and for a Chrysler like that they are getting hard to find.

Late 1940's Crosleys ... Including one converted into a flat-bed truck that once belonged to Griffith Park. Also a Cushman 3-wheel "truck"...:D:D:D

A friend of mine went on a trip through Sweden last summer and snapped these photos. I think I might have seen other photos of the same cars on this thread.

52 sedan, straight 6 auto. engine spins with a breaker bar, some glass and stainless is good.

  13. I'd say you've got some vary salvagable parts & pieces there, especially on that '54. The oddball hood hinges alone are worth a few $$$ just as rebuildable cores. If you have time to dismantle & piddle around selling 'em you'd likely get a bit more for them as parts, vice scrapping 'em as whole cars. Just MHO

I'm surprised that no one has jumped on either of these. '62 bubbletops hit the stupid money level some years ago, and the '61 is at least a good parts car.

Pic 1957 Chev 20 years ago. It is still sitting in the same place. He drove in High School in the late 80's and it was given to him by his grandad. Now it is rust bucket. The floors are gone all the lower have rust. He will not sell it. I guess one day he can sell the parts off of it. Sad to see car going to Shit.

I cant understand some people who let desirable cars sit outside to rot away for years, but will never sell any one of them. Do they think in there mind they will restore them. they sure are not getting more valuable rotting away.

  30. To many of these type "accumulators", its self-satisfying to them that someone wants what they have and they have the power over others by denying them. If they let the cars go, then that feeling will be lost.

They don't have the energy, interest, or resources to rebuild them themselves. The fact that they are destroying the cars slowly doesn't really matter.
