Finally got some more from my buddys place today, so here they are, all these cars are for sale.... but be warned he is kinda high, if you are serious and have cash in hand I can get him to be a little more realistic but most of the cars he wants like $1500 each for....Jim

  5. Idiot friend indeed. This was no show quality resto. It was nothing more than a spray and pray hack job. If you blow up the pics you can see cracking bondo and overspray. It probably looked like the truck shortly before leaving the US.

I found about 30 cars in a basement this week. I bought the Stang and the Bird. I tried pulling the covers back on the other stuff but got shut down quick by a very enthusiastic maitinence worker. Everything looked to have been sitting at least ten years. Some good stuff that I could see. sorry for the picture quality, but if you look you will see a bunch of cars.

A mate of mine called me last sunday, and asked me if I wanted to tag along to go and check out a 50 Chevy Coupe Ute. When we got there, the old lady directed us around the back, and we found all these just sitting there. These are located North of Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia.

As well as these, we spotted this strange looking oddity that looked like it was built around an early 50's Chev chassis and running gear

We didn't come home with anything. The coupe ute just wasn't worth the 3k price tag.

The 'Bomber' car is unique, but whoever built this Chevy truck needs to have his tools taken away.

It shouldn't. The pic was taken in '71, which means nothing there was anything more than an old clunker at the time. A '55 Chevy was a 16 yr old car in '71. Nobody seems angry that junkyards today have '97 Chevy's in them?

  28. Yeah but today's cars are already junk in the showroom except for a few maybe. Anything that isn't HAMB friendly is better off in the boneyard, not as an eyesore on the road. Most of today's cars are just plain fucking ugly.

  29. ...and they were smoking the same shit.:p

Funny how closed-minded some folks are. I'll keep you in mind when I look at my '98 Camaro, '93 Silverado, the wife's '01 Silverado. I'll try to only see my '46 Studebaker, '64 C10, or the '48 Willys CJ2, though, OK?

My point was that being angry about a 40 yr old pic made no sense.
