If the 54 wagon still has the inside tailgate latches, they are worth getting. They are the same as a 55 -58 Chevy Cameo pickup tailgate latches. Actually, the whole wagon looks pretty solid, and worth saving....Course, I'm used to rusty Illinois stuff.:eek::eek:

From a CL ad. Not promoting it, merely posting cool shots.

I'd have to say that someone built that wagon from an Impala hardtop. Chevy never made one like that, and all wagons had only one taillight on each side, and none had the side scoop. Nomad was the top of the line wagon in '58, and all of them were 4 doors.

    Very unusual, for sure.

Looks like a professional car, like a flower car or hearse. I've seen two door Del Ray's from 58 they are very cool. Almost a two door 58 Nomad.

'58 Impala is advertised as a hearse. Coach built for sure, not knowing what country (or even continent) conversion took place in I can't venture a guess what company built it. Great kustomizing palette for sure.

There is nothing flower car about it.

  22. Saw that '58 Hearse on CL 2 years ago, was listed as being is Sweeden, exact same photos as the one just listed here, FWIW

Truly a neat wagon(?). For a dollar and available in FLA it is worth bidding on.

  28. I've seen a photo of 1959 Chevrolet with a greenhouse very similar to this. I am thinking it was a European version of a coach-built hearse.

    They do look very cool.

Not a wagon (although it can be made into one). Not a dollar. (Owner is fishing for a lofty price.) Not an auction. CL ad posted in response #7360.

Not a 4D either, look closer.
