If the tail was extended out and curved down and the rear fenders were longer and with more rearward "pontoon", I think it could be pretty elegant.

 

Is it a 30's chev pickup cab?

I'm really wondering if there might be some historical relavence to this one...It looks to have been done quite well, and long ago...

 

Taillight looks mid 60'

 

taillights are late '40s Studebaker, I just sold a set in Nov.

 

It's on blocks cuz some low life stole his 22" wheels.

Why?

 

My dad in the mid 80's rented out half of his shop because construction
got slow. To a guy that made all the fibergl*** kits for the bugs and I have seen stranger things than this one.

 

They were quite popular in the 70's.

 

Some of the cars our county STOLE out of peoples yards, and deemed as Abandoned or trash.

 

As stated earlier that was pretty common in the 70's. There was also a kit to make them look like a 32 Ford. It was called the Vord and was actually pretty neat looking.

The county I grew up in if a car wasn't registered you would be given a ticket. So when it was time buy a house I moved to the next county over in the country with the farmers and they keep everthing and run the town. So I have never had a problem. Can't live by the yuppies they worry about other people's yards. All that vintage steel being crushed is really ******* me off
