No kidding! But, knowing those cars, and where its sitting, there probably isn't a single piece of the floor left in tact... :(

Dash of the '59 Impala I posted above. There were 2 of these there in about the same condition. Don't have a good pic of the other one though.

I agree, it needs to be saved. The owner drove it to high school though and doesn't want to sell it. I'll talk with him if you're interested in it. It's located about 18 miles outside of Beckley, WV. He has 2 of them in pretty much the same condition. The other one is a red.

And then people wonder why somebody just takes something like this in the middle of the night? I don't advocate that type of action, but this car deserves to be saved, even if it's that way!

Looks like a dead coon pelt on top of the right quarter panel, next to the cushion. Geez...

  23. is the 46 indian chief for sale

  24. I wish i had that indian i would hang it in my barn.

  25. I disagree with you completely. It's never appropriate to take something that doesn't belong to you. It wud be much better to make the owner a monetary offer that he can't refuse, or make an offer to store the car in better conditions, or even offer to restore the car for the owner. I'm sure you wudn't take too kindly to someone taking your '40 in the middle of the night becuz you "ruined" it by making a hot rod out of it instead of painting it black and restoring it like Henry intended. I also disagree with you that cars are taken in the middle of the night just to be rescued. They're taken in the middle of the night by scum of the earth thieves to either strip the car for parts or sell it somewhere else for ill gotten profit.
