37 Ford Sitting 35 years .I first saw it in 1984 it had already been rotting away for a decade . Owner said not for sale (see big keep out sign on ground).Then one day it was gone 2007 or so ?. It came up for sale on cra.....gs 2 months later . My buddy who drove me to see the coupe a few times a year in the 1980s , My Buddy who loved the car so much is now restoring the 37 condition of pic 1960 Charlestown Dragway Fame . my buddy owns it.. his Dad went To high School with Bobby Sauza who buildt car in late 50s R.I.

 

Isn't this 1939 Cadillac? I just read that a Finnish car museum paid well over $100 000 to another museum in Florida for a museum piece similar car. Dunno for sure the the condition, survivor/restored how well. Looked great in newspaper photo.

I think so, Im still trying to figure out what it is. it was dumped in a recycling area!

 

If I were you, I'd be getting the rollback real quick like and hauling that puppy home.

Hi Maverick Daddy...You need to collect this beauty ( 39 Cad) they are rare and you only need to look what (Cad Mad) has done with one of these limos to see what an unusual 1940's custom can be achieved with this style of body ....

Nope. Three other people bid it up to $4361.11, so at least a few people saw potential in it. I've seen worse cars on here brought back to life.

 

Its all exactly what you need to turn a four door into a coupe with minimal effort. JW
