My friends and I started eating at a new restaurant for lunch last year and one of the waitresses noticed my car T shirts. She mentioned that she and her boyfriend bought an old house up country and it had a garage with a 50's Ford in it. They dragged it out and said that if another person who expressed interest did not come and get it after he said he wanted it 3 years ago, I could have it. Another year passed , and the guy finally said he didn't want it and had no place to keep it anyways. She said "Come and get it!", so I went right up 4 54b.jpg that evening. 4 54a.jpg

Studebaker; looks like a '30 from the cowl lines but with a '31 grille.

And one more...this one makes me sick...I've asked about this 30 coupe at least a dozen times in the past 40 years. Its right down the street from my dads place. When I first spotted it, the shed was in decent shape but the roof caved in probably 18 or 20 years ago and there it sits. Belongs to an ANTIQUE lawyer who wants to leave it to his granddaughter. Kinda hard to see...had to use telephoto to get it as well as I did. It is a complete car, bumper to bumper. IMG_1205.JPG

"ANTIQUE lawyer"? Specializes in antiques or is one himself?

The grand daughter would be the one to find. From the looks of things like the garage, no interest.

  23. Those hexagon hubcaps and piano hinges at the rear of the front doors are the giveaways.

I'm thinking a couple inch chop, filled roof, maybe raise the fenders an inch or two, and nailhead or old caddy powered, artillery wheels, hoodless..... We'll see
