A tragic update on the sitting and rotting find in the Great Smoky Mountains near Tremont. Since the last visit a tree decided to add insult to injury! I guess we can play Taps now.

 

Saw this one on Wednesday, up in Ruidoso NM. Has some pieces I need for mine. But as usual, not for sale.

This is at a drive line shop in Post Falls, Idaho.

 

One of my club members "rescued" this '63 today. (Sadly, it'll just be rotting with the other 30 something antique cars he has.....

 

I can't understand why people do that. Buy lost of cars just let them rot. They could buy one or two and spend the rest of their money restoring and driving them.

 

I understand, but that's only because I'm one of them...

 

The one with the most toys WINS !

 

Not really. When you die having left dozens of cars to rot. Everyone left shakes their head, and says "what an idiot".

Would somebody, I say would somebody please save ( rescue that is) that Plymouth.

 

Just contacted the owner. Buy the Plymouth and get a free farmhouse & shed.

 

@Wanderlust , the Ford coupe is interesting but the '32 Ford Tudor is a diamond in the rough .

At what point does one finally realize that you have acquired just too much stuff?

 

At least it has Real patina.

 

The second picture looks like an Anglia / Ford Popular that could be saved.

if we "hoarders" didn't collect all these cars and related stuff, you wouldn't be looking at it. it would all be in the crusher by now! put your money where your mouth is and come buy my stuff!
