This is sitting in a local junkyard and would love to do something with it but no room and the doors have been open too long. 20220716_104542.jpg

You could look back in my posts and see the grey girl in better times - not sure what happened to the rear fender.....this car was just a great garage kept sweet heart when he acquired it.

This guy is about my age - 65 or younger - and is kinda a.....shouldn't say it.....

The black coupe in the middle I helped unload from a trailer and push it into a garage - not at this location - maybe back in the late 80's or early 90's. It still looked great with the factory paint still shining bright. I was on the hunt for a 1940 Ford coupe and he had a couple - that weren't for sale at that time.

I know this house has sold but I have not been able to catch him there like I have in the past. Funny he drives a late model Lincoln around the area - spoke to the neighbors as well and a week or so he was still staying at the old house. Grey Lincoln girl.jpg

This was local until a few years ago, 'For Sale' beside a house. A rare factory RHD export 47 Olds sedanette. It was beyond salvaging with major rust and damage to roof and doors where it had been slung with chains to remove from the paddock. I only wanted it for yard art and have no idea what became of it, it just disappeared when the tenants moved out.

The Ford had a v8 overdrive was in nice shape for $4000. Plymouth with a slant 6 was $800 I think.

You and me both…if it was remotely close to me for $800 I would be all over it.

I seem to understand that he wouldn't pay anything for the Plymouth, at least I wouldn't.

I was there to buy the plow truck sitting in front of the ford. I need it to clear my driveway this winter. I'd love to haul them all home but I already have to many projects and not enough time.
