Fins on wings? Fish and birds mixed together? Sounds un natural, against nature, and the real world.

These were taken today all within 15 minutes of each other. At first glance the 49-50 Ford Truck looks really clean, until you look at the roof. It looks like it was stood on by a herd of Bison. Its a real shame because the rest of the cab appears solid with next to no rust. 05AFE138-FF16-4840-B2A0-0E8CE51F47D6.jpeg

These two late 40s Internationals were a little nicer if less complete. 416BD682-2505-4F02-B081-30AA1FA2DD00.jpeg 9521C248-1F32-48B2-81B9-69DD996FF25F.jpeg

The second one was really unusual, it looked like a cross between a five window coupe and a Ranchero. Do you get these kinds of Internationals in the States ? 54A56F8B-A624-4F4F-A930-B5532550ACE6.jpeg

Chances are those of you familiar with Wasteland Weekend have strong opinions on it, many of them negative no doubt. The idea of dropping a late Thirties/Fourties automobile onto a fullsize truck frame and tearing around the desert in your finest, post apocolyptic attire must seem completely alien to all the squares.

I'm not sure the owner of this weird abomination had that in mind, but the effect is mesmerising nevertheless. I am keeping the location of these two a secret, not out of respect for the owner, more a case of, I am interested in the Coupe/Ranchero Wastland Special for my self.

As for the 49/50 Ford Truck, if look closely you will see a phone number in the windshield, it appears to be for sale. Its actually been there for months, so im guessing the owner wants top dollar for it, but withbthat beat up roof, he might need to drop his price a little. With no listed price, it might be a case of "If you have to ask you can't afford it.

Clair County Alabama. I do not know the owner, so I can't pass on any info. Looks like it was something in its day... .. 1695081365366.jpg 1695081369856.jpg 1695081373495-st Clair .jpg
