A Mercury pickup in Tennessee?? Wow, a little ways from home, must have had an interesting journey.

 

Maybe he had a route running Canadian Club down and trading it for Tennessee 'shine. Then decided to stay where the booze was better...

Is this shoebox chopped with a raked windshield? Sad to see it in this state. Same goes for the '59 Chevy.

 

I remember in the late 1960's, a Matford 4 door sedan in the Boston area owned by John Vivian.

Putman's yard in Burlington, Iowa, a few years ago, all gone now.

Seems a lot of yards crushed out right before everyone went to buying online. They missed a great revenue stream.

 

Got the tailgate latches out of this wagon. The same latches were used in 55 - 58 Chevy Cameo pickups, and Corvair Rampside pickups. Along with a bunch of other parts... Including a NOS 41 Chevy front fender.

Ya know, that truck looks solid. Sure it’s rusty but still it’s got some good bones ( foundation that is) . Besides, it’ll buff out. Hehe.

 

I liked that place lots of unusual stuff.

 

My beautiful assistant found this one today, in Montgomery Alabama.

 

Found this ol pile of Model T recently. Looks like its been sitting & rotting a looong time. I kept one running board for a wall hanger.
