Anybody have a picture of Kenny Kaisers / K&D Body Shop sponsered multi colored panel painted 67 Camaro? His home base was Three Rivers, Michigan. edit: Just remembered, the 67 Camaro was lettered up as "Chucks Body Shop" when I first saw the car..... 292 inch six with three Webers. Loved the six cylinder header sound too.
Well heavy chev, a 6 will give ya gobs of touque in the (old days) before rat rods and cell phones and girls with tatoos, my old bro built a chrys spitfire 6 that would pull em up in a 47 ply coupe I,m 60 and as a shit nose kid thats what got me into cars and mopars and I am still stupid!!!!
Me and my high school auto shop buddies built 3 of those Chrysler 6 powered 50's Plymouths in 1960. They ran pretty good until the usual rod knock started. I recall one of the looniers ones driving up with one in my front yard & shutting it off. I said Joe, you have a bad oil pan leak. He said no I dont, theres no oil pan on it, It ran for a good while before it siezed up eventually. Thats always been a classic story of mine. You can call BS, but it happened
Local legend Cotton Perry in a couple of his many battles against the V8's, that he won of coarse. His engine builder at the time, Jim Headrick (Race Engine Design in Rossville, Ga.) was one of my favorite people. He was a good friend and build us alot of great engines. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXOf0EG3OJQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ7rAqjXr_8

Found a picture of my Dad's first drag roadster. He had a 1952 Chevy with a straight six after this, and a 1933 Chevy coupe with an inliner also. This is a 292 Chevy and he was the driver and his friend Jim Killough did the wrenching. Picture is from 1966 or thereabouts.
I love this shot. Inlinners with Hillborns or Webers stacked along the side lends for a nice picture.
I got to see this car once when it ventured to Ontario in 1970 or so for the Supernationals. The car was always in the news with National Dragster where it won a lot races and rarely loss class honors. Thanks for posting.
