Size Differences:

Is there a big difference between the sizes of a GM TH200 & GM 200R? How do either of these trannies compare in size with a GM turbo 350?

 

They're all pretty similar, same overall length. The pan on the 200-4R is very long, and the mount is at the very back of the transmission, so you might need to do some crossmember work to make it fit. The 200 is the narrowest of the bunch.

There are some longer tail housing 350s

 

CK memory the 200r4 mount is 6 5/8" back from the 200 and 350 trans. the shift shaft is a few inches back also. same length drive shaft
