How do I correctly size a photo for an avatar? In addition to size (aspect ratio) how do I handle resolution?
    TIA for your help.

  3. Avatars should be a minimum of 200x200 pixels. Computers and web browsers don't really understand how to deal with inches. As Rocky stated above if you upload a slightly larger image the site will resize it for you to 200x200.

The only problem is if you want your image cropped in a specific way. You can do this yourself if you have even some basic image editing software. You don't need anything as complex as Photoshop. If you don't figure it out or don't have any suitable software you can upload an image to this thread and I'll be happy to crop and resize it for you.
