skipping to middle of thread

Hi guys, I've had a look around the Q+A section and haven't found an answer to a query.

Is it still poss to skip to the middle of a large thread ? I have been looking for a page on the photoshop thread and not having any joy as yet.
For instance ...I had some photos done on what used to be p571. I was able to jump straight to p600 and then go back in 10pg jumps. Now it appears the thread stops at p461?

another example...I know I was up around p850 on the Vintage shots thread so would skip and jump my way to it....now I can't see how to do that

Here's how I do it: On any page of the thread you will note an URL in the web address box at the top of the page. At the end of that URL will be the page number (except the first page which has no number). To skip ahead to a particular page in the middle of the thread, just delete the current page number from the URL and manually type the page number you want onto the end of it.

For example, to skip from page 10 to page 93, this:
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-bucket-of-ugly-a-de-uglifying-thread.824491/page-10

becomes this:
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-bucket-of-ugly-a-de-uglifying-thread.824491/page-93

Just a couple of keystrokes.
