Skirts or no skirts?

    That is a great car for a sleeper build or "muscle car" build. I think it looks great at stock ride height without the skirts. In my opinion the roof looks to tall when it is lowered.

    I vote for no skirts.... Hot pants are OK.. Ala natural is best.. Oh! back to the question..
    Skirts were neat looking on the low rider cars of the late '40's, early '50's... The tear drop style with '41 Buick fender emblems were the rage..
    Most of the cars of the '50's had skirts as original equipment... I bought a '50 Olds 88 in '54, took the skirts off.. I bought a '53 Olds 88 in '56, the skirts went bye bye..
    My '57 T-Bird came with skirts, they have not been on the car since I bought it in 1973...
    I have a pair of skirts for the '49 Olds 88 that I am building now... They will not be on the car as long as I own it...
    So... I guess my vote is No Skirts On Anything...

    i like the hiway patrol/60s sleeper look it has now. no skirts needed!
