I want some big skirts...anyone ever made a set or know of some universals that look good? Love the big cruiser skirts but the prices are up there....any alternatives?

Skirts are a signature part for a custom car, and as such should not be selected on low price or easy availability...in my most humble opinion, that is.

Prowl the "little books" in search of a specific skirt design that will enhance the overall theme you've chosen for your car. (You have chosen a theme, haven't you?)

Then, move heaven and earth to find a set.

Nobody ever said that building a really great vintage custom car was either cheap or easy.

    Good luck!

    :)

Ain't that the truth! But then there's also the old DIY ethic...the guys in the early days didn't have mail order bolt-on stuff like we do today. Why not try your hand at making your own? You might discover some kinda hidden talent.

If those are the kind of skirts you're looking for shoot me a PM these are up for grabs. They fit the car well but did not work for the look my Girlfriend wants for her car.

I was at the KOA show in Gettysburg , Pa. yesterday and there was a guy that had a pair of those big shirts for $100 . I just don't care for the looks of them so I p***ed them up . I already have a nice pair of regular skirts I picked up at the Fords Carsile for $60 .
    Just my opinion !

A buddy of mine got a set from Big Jim's in Whitney, TX a couple of years ago and had a good experience. Here's the link: http://www.bigjims.net/
