How could I know, it leaves on a trailer in one pic, and re-enters in yours.
And you don't seem like a bum, and if so you are my kind of bum.

    Hey wait a minute...

That sounds somehow wrong, I meant to say I like the way you post!

Somebody has to say it; it turned out looking 'sway-backed' where the hood meets the cowl.

Purpose designed to create a "micro- vortex" type molecular disturbance at high speed, making the aerodynamics of the hood put downward pressure on the front end for stability at top end in sand. An old trick developed in the 1900's in German South Africa, and incorporated in BMW's until the late 1970's.

I need to take a field trip!!

Those pictures of the car on the sand, with the driver's old helmet, made me think, "The car Pete Millar would have liked to have driven and drawn".
    What a great roadster!

[IMG]i raised the rear about 2" before sold it. Looked better with a little rake I think.

Great pics, great time, great car. The shot of you on the return run with the "Torrnados" pennant is perfect- What a tribute to a fallen brother.

    Ya done good , kid!

I really enjoyed watching you build this roadster. It was a very fitting tribute. Wish I could have made it up to see it up close. Hopefully it went into good hands.

That's a big 10/4 on the sighting. Rumor on the street is those poor guys got 3 hrs of run time, and flooded out .One of the pictures posted looks like a lakefront car show.

June 2017 will be BETTER!! East Coast Rocks!

    Car update.

New radiator going on, power gen installed ....

Paint next week ( hopefully) and floors.

She is quite a car and has some get up and go. Only had the stone to go 90 so far on the SoCal freeways...

    I Like it so far.
What color of paint? Black or white?

Black, black and black, is a neat color combo for a rod!
Or white, with red seats, and Matt black wheels.

Or do you have something cooler in store?
