It looks like it wants to rob me... I can dig it. Its YOUR car, so keep building it YOUR way. I don't see any spiderwebs, so thats a plus.

  3. If you would have taken time to read the thread you would have seen where i explained the coil over suspension is adjusted all the way out.. we are raising it up quite a bit before we finish this car.. right now it simply rolls around the garage so who cares if its a few inches off the ground.. why would we spend so much time and money on replacement panels if we were going to drag it all over the place?

this just shows that some people consider a "rat rod" a style or a certain look.the car is still very well built but still has that mean, rugged look, that says "dont f*** with me".i love the trad look but there is something about a WELL BUILT rat goin down the road and making everyone stop look.pulling into the cruise in in my sedan gets soooo much attention.my buddys girl was calling my car a ***** it was getting so much attention.
josh the car looks awsome.keep doing what you love to do.scaring the hell out of senior citizens and little kids.lol

  6. Now that is awesome! Great work I can tell that you have put lot's of time into it. I am pretty sure these types of rods are called "******** Hot Rods" but who cares what to lable it it's pure bad ***!

not to be an ***hole, but i can't seem to see what is going on with the rear suspension. why are the coil-overs pushed so far inboard when there appears to be ample room farther out? i see a single heim joint going to a bar off of the frame, but don't see a four-link or ladder bars. any details? also, what's with the front of the bones?

still, not trying to be an ***hole, but you have to remember that this is not as much a generic hot rod discussion board as it is specific to traditionally and historically accurate builds. respect is often granted to those building cars with a modern '********' approach, but those builders have to work twice as hard on this site to get it. lower your guns and have a good time on here.

  8. sure i can get more pics up of the suspension.. The rear is a 2 bar setup with a panhard bar.. There are heims in the front and back to adjust the axle pinion. Similar design to the wishbones that wrap around the rearend but adjustable.the coils are where they are just because i guess i thought they looked best there..the pan hard bar is hidden thats why you dont see it looking in the trunk
