StudebakerDave followed me out to slddnmatt's new shop,to drop off my Merc. He's letting me fix my oilpan leak there,since my driveway is too steep to pull my motor out . When we got there he was working on one of his Mercs. Inside his shop was jk49's Merc,that he's been fixing the windwings,windows and putting the gl*** in,along with his collection of '51 Mercs he's been ac***ulating. It was cool seeing the differences in my Merc and Jeremy's. Here's the pic's I took while we were BSing...
There's a big difference in the back windows. His was left in the stock location,while mine was moved forward...
His is chopped about 1" more than mine. If you look closely,you can see the difference in our quarter windows...
I'll be fixing my oilpan next weekend. Should be able to get it done in one day...Oh yea! Matt has one more chopped '51 in his garage and a '50 at his old shop!!! Plus another customer car too!

Matt looks like he's got a problem many people would love to have --- No room for tools because Mercs are taking up all the space.
Is that JK Merc the one that used to have a really laid back windshield and some other wierd shapes on the chop? It was re chopped by Lordz? It's interesting to see the different backlite treatments side by side. Both styles look good.
