sleeper cells?

I gotta call from a friend I've made since I moved to Sonora and he says he's building an HA/GR. They went to Dragfest and hung out with some HA/GRs- helped tap carbs for bigger jets. I couldn't figure out who it was. Was it someone on here?

They'll probably join the H.A.M.B. The point is that I think there are more people building HA/GRs that aren't visible, hence the ***le "sleeper cells?".

Sorry Kurt, just couldn't p*** that one up ....

The only team thrashing on carbs during Dragfest were Joe & Roger, on their "slipper" car. Must've been them. They wound up trading some et for some speed.
Neither are on the HAMB as yet, that I know of.

I'll have to agree, there're a few "off-HAMB" HA/GRs in the works. With Cindy's, Joe's, and now this one that's three for sure. Likely one or more unknown yet as well.

 

One of these years someone is going to show up at MO/KAN with a $50,000 HA/GR in a climate controlled tractor/trailer.

 

Actually, Joe & Roger run a fuel car and have the trailer and facilities from that to use, and Cindy runs out of the Vegas Heat trailer. No 50k in their HAMBsters but it sure looks killer with those trailers behind'em.

Then there's us ........
