Those T-birds are really amazing cars. They had a full frame, yet they had a full unitized body too, you couldn't unbolt the front clip or fenders separately. Very strong. They also all had telescoping steering columns, the early ones had gear driven tachs in them, and they came stock with chrome air cleaners and finned aluminum valvecovers. All cool stuff. If you've ever driven one, you know you dont' want one with a stick. I could never drive the factory stick ones because the shifter wouldn't clear my leg. I like that one just the way it is. Nice driver ones bring good money, it's usually not worth the investment to restore one if it's already pretty decent. Nice score.
My dad went to his prom in my grandfather's 57... his date had this rad bee hive hairdoo, and he was wearing this white tux with the skinny lapels and black pants. *****en car! Don't change the engine, Y-blocks look cool, and there is nothing smart about devaluing a car by $20K.
If your talking about the Yellow one it belongs to one of our Club members. Way Kool Car! Runs like Jack the Bear. The Wizzard
Oh man! How I would spend your money; remove top, g***er style front & radiused rear quarters, Black with traditional yellow, orange and red flames, Chrome reverse wheels, Chrome roll bar, black interior, for power maybe a 351 with a blower on it sticking up out of the hood. Almost forgot, and in the p***enger seat, a hot babe (use your own imagination there - whatever floats your boat)
Well you know your Slo Pok's. Jack ****rod's alwayse been known as "Jack the Bear" and his A/Gas Willys has been well known coast to coast. The Yellow 57 T-Bird with the Cammer Ford in it belongs to Mike Seelbinder. It may not be as Quick as Jack's Willys but it's one Bad *** Street driven Cammer Ford. Talk about a Wolf in Sheep's clothing. The Wizzard
