slightly ot/ Rt. 66 landmark burns down

Awesome that the reconstruction is almost complete. But what kind of crap is that about not putting the lunch counter and stools back it?? That's one of the things the differentiates these places from the Denny's on the super-slab. I wouldn't call that preservation. Just remodeling.

 

I feel a road trip coming on. Wonder if I can get a free burger if I bring a vintage sign along?

 

meh, i never pay attention maybe thats why i'll be in college a lil more than 5 years.. oops
