Hi Guys, I have lerked around the HAMB for awhile but have never been able to get on. I can' type or use a computer but learning. I live in Enid Okla. I normally drive a 40 ford tudor, now my daily driver. Even though I don't think she likes me. In the last few years every time I try to do something for her she bites back. A fire, the rear end shattered, my compresser blew up in the garage, a guy ran a stop sign got the right rear fender, two days after I got it fixed a customer backed out of the shop and hit the same fender. Thats just the spring of 05. Not so bad for a while but i'm still trying. I have been around the car peaple all my life with my dad. he is the purist . restored Packards and Cadalacs as far back as I know. I grew up in the 60's, had all the cars I wish I could've kept. 55-60 chevys all of them,40 ford coupe,64 wildcat convt. and many bikes. That was just high schl. My first car, 57 chevy conv. My son and I built a 57 chevy pu for his first vehicle with the help of good freinds. he traded it for 28 tudor model A. (we decided last minute not drive it to HAMB drags,... mistake.) Nathan (son) and I returned sun. from MOKAN, we had a great time and met the niced peaple ever. Had a great time I just wish I could remember names,HAMB names & real. Hope to get to know you all and learn more old school building stuff. Some of my friends already include GV Gordon,& Twisted Okie, who is agreat friend and boss for many years. Unfortunetly we had to close Bears Performace (an icon in Enid for forty years) so I'm in between carreres now. hope to hear from Y'all some time.
Hey Larry! Glad you finally got the computer thing figured out. Also glad you and Nathan made it to MOKAN. Now you know why I said you have to be there.
Welcome Larry! Good to finally see ya on the board, but where's Nathan? sorry to hear that you're not coming to our show saturday. I guess I can't hold it against ya since you guys have been there almost every year since the beginning.
