I've had these old Cragar slots sitting around for several years now. Toying with the idea of running them on my C10. 15x7 front 15x9 out back. I'd probably go with raised white letter tires of some sort. What do you guys think? Slots or not? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I like them. I like them with that style truck, but I do not like them with that style truck and color package. Maybe if it was a solid color. In that scheme the truck looks better with the black wheels maybe with dogdishes.
The slots look great. But with blackwalls. I ran 8.5 slots on my 66 c10 with n50 15s on the back, loved the look.
Save yourself some ridicule and send those wheels to me and I will send you a set of really nice white spokes. Put them on the your truck and to hell what anybody else thinks, it's your truck. I like the look.
I think alum slots, would look great on it. Just as long as your going for a late 60's early 70's vibe.
I like slots on everything so I guess that my vote doesn't count. Cool way to make a picture of how they would look on your truck.
I never liked aluminum slotted mags. Just a purely personal viewpoint. I ran 15X10 and 15X8 chrome reversed on my 61.
Ansen 5 slot/6 lugs are a great look for a TF or C10- Brad54 has 15x7/15x8's on his '61 suburban that was his daily driver... until he went deer hunting one night- literally
I like the slots but I then I have a set destined for my '57. The PO had them on a truck like yours. I would not do the RWL's either and am not a fan of white walls in most applications. But then again, it is YOUR truck! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
