Looking good, keep after it. You'll be driving it before you know it. Yours is looking way better than mine at the moment, My new slicks aren't here yet, my carb is apart, and my rear leaves are at the shop being rebushed so I can install my cal-tracs I've had collecting dust for three years now. And we are supposed to go racing this weekend!!!!! I know, stop whining and just finish the damn thing.
Sorry for so long getting back, carb is fixed, Cal-Tracs are finally installed, and the slicks finally showed up. Things are looking a little better! Hey, like I said before, when I get some real paint on this old thing, we got to find some way to get you to Austin to letter it.
Here's a picture from last fall, close to the end of the driving season. There are some older ones in my profile as well.
Sure is a fun lookin' good looker. I just scraped & knocked my gravel shield. Keep pressing away man.
Looks very good, bet that bumper was fun to cut.......I'm ready for a ride, you owe me one........only not like in my 34....SSSSSHHHHHHHHHIITTTTTTTTTT
Hmmm....that front bumper treatment looks a bit familiar.... See ya, -Abone. PS. Nice stripe job on Bobs new truck..He is headed to LA for the roadster show about right now.
Looks like there's some good lookin studes in the Carolina's. Hey, finished the thrash and the car picked up a tenth in the 1/8th. Looks like it will go some 11.80's in the 1/4 now. The cal-tracs were definetly the ticket, car leaves super smooth. Almost feels lazy but picked up .07 in the 60 ft. Your car is lookin good, keep at it. What all is left? Looks like you are getting darn close.
started lettering it today. i'm undecided. i need some opinions.if it stays, i'm gonna make the lettering look as faded and worn as the rest of the paint .
yea it'll be vintage lettering on the front fenders, maybe m/t equipped or something like that and possibly STUDEBOMB on the doors.thanks for your input.
