Woot ! Keep your kids inside , Edwierd and his Tyresmokin' Stude are on the streets . Happy for ya Ed , Been cool to see you transform this unloved classic into a Bad ass brawler ...
installed a jegs pro start starter on it today. man what a difference. super quite. i'm very happy with it.next is higher front springs to get the front up. finish the exhaust and then on to the back to get my pinion angle right. then install my line lock.allmost ready to have some fun!
before all the bottom feeders start blasting me, i want to ask one simple question.my stude is set up pretty good, 383 stroker, turbo 400, 4.10 posi. i want to put some weight maybe behind the rear bumper or in the trunk, just for the hell of it to do a wheelstand fairly effortlessly on occassions.WHAT DO YALL THINK AND HOW MUCH WEIGHT ? the engine is set back to begin with.theres a few guys around here that needs to see this. ok!..........................LET ME HAVE IT!!!
pickup a fat girl at the bar or wal-mart and let her sit in the back. At least it wouldn't happen to be permanent. 80lb bags of concrete for starters. Cheap way anyway.
Sweet ride, a Stude -53-54 is a dreamcar for me! If you get the frontwheels of the ground, be sure to take lots of pics
Well, if you could get it to hook up instead of smoking the tires, you wouldn't need the weight. Just a thought. How about have two mounts for the weight. one behind the axle for major wheelies, and one just ahead of the axle for major traction? What are you running for shocks up front? How sticky are those Drag Radials (?) compared to a good set of slicks? Are we going to see you at The Gear Jam? Looks like a whole lot of FUN.
