Will it work or will I need to modify the firewall?
    Anyone done this?

It will work with the stock firewall. I have done two of them. The fan is close to the radiator but clears. A stock Deuce firewall in an original car does not need to be cut either so the Wescott works. Depending on your transmission you may need to trim the lower toe board section for clearance.

I've also done both original '32 and Wescott bodies and didn't have to cut anything.
Short water pump and single pulleys. Also, use a Zips water pump riser and you don't have to fool with and electric fan.
