Small Block Timing Issues Have Got Me Stuck

Hell no don't lock it. Sure it's an ancient thread but I want to see if anybody else will chime in on how to "clock" the intermediate shaft. (Insert cynical grin here) I am one of those guys that drops distributors in, then figures out where the #1 wire should go and run the rest accordingly. It really messes up some folks heads, and that's the kind of entertainment I enjoy.

 

I would'nt use ANYTHING Pro Comp sells, not even on my lawn mower.

Do a search, plenty of info on their stuff out of China ( ie: no Patents apply) and they blatantly copy other manufacturers products ie: Edelbrock, MSD etc...

I believe they are based down here, but manufacture evrything out of China.

As rat bastad says Aussies have been aware of Pro Comp junk for years but now they must be pushing their rubbish into the States , be very wary .
