Hey guys, I'm looking for a small heater/defroster for my truck. Because of my large engine cover, I only have a space about 9"wide x 11" high for it. Looking for a hot water type, preferably a junkyard unit(cheap).
    Any ideas?

I did a search on the main hamb board, but didn't come up with much.

Think electric heater and yes I did read you want a water type but electric is small and compact. Not sure if I can help you in Montana but I sell them in the hundreds here.

EZ, Get one designed for a Fork Truck, I forgot the name, I put one in my '29 tudor years ago,was surprised to find out they are still available, $148.00. I painted mine with wrinkle finish black, cause they look real commercial.
    Google: Fork truck heater.
    they be little w/ defroster/heat.

I bought one for the wife's roadster from So Cal Speed Shop. Small, hot water, fan built in with three outlets. You'll have to provide the ducting, of course.

Wow, thanks guys! I'm more in need of the defroster than the heater......with the engine right there next to me I may have more heat than I need.

That is a really cool old heater, I've never seen one like that. I will p*** though, it's not exactly what I need.....but thank you very much for the generous offer!
