Hot Rods smallblock chevy engine codes.

Hey guys, I have some smallblocks that have been sitting around, and wanted to know for sure what they were. I looked them up in several sites and they went all over the place. the code numbers are from the flat space in front of the left head on the block. 350 cu. in. # vo128CGC sez its a 350 but don't know what year or whats its out of. 2nd bought as a 305 # vo220FC sez its a 327 1969 thats all I got on it. 3rd is a 327( pulled it out of my motherinlaws impala 68-69 I think) but the sites say the code is not valid. CGC is 350/245 horse, 1971 police/taxi, 8.5 comp./2bbl. Being police/taxi I think you will find 3/8" exhaust valve stems.
FC is 327/235 horse, 1969, 9-1 comp./2bbl.
Recheck that last suffix, its not correct.
