History SMITHS gauges

Just got done watching a segment on the science channel " How it's made" and they showed how Smith's gauges are made.....
Pretty cool stuff.....

 

Thanks for bringing up an old thread I missed, have to find the show you just mentioned. I plan to use Smith's gauges in my '30 Roadster, figure someone in 1962 could have found a wrecked AC or early Cobra and used the gauges. Bob

I Used Smith's duel gauge Water temp & Oil pressure on my Roadster. Had them in my Cobra way back when. They worked great then and this one does as well. See bottom left Pic. http://www.smiths-instruments.co.uk/dual-gauges
