Hi all... I bought a dragmaster in 1965 from Earl Poage of Olympia,Washington. I put a 26 T body on it and raced it in AA Super compe***ion Elimatior.The wheel base was 112in.It had a 481 cu inch chy wedege.I won the 1966 World Finals in Tulsa Ok.,beating Al Bergler in final round.My driver was John Kenderski from olympia.After winning I took the car to Carlsbad Ca...Jim and Dode lengthend the car to a wooping 143 inches.I sold the car in 68 to some canadians.Two motors,671 blower,hilborn injection and all...The car was called Little Caesar...LOTS OF GOOD MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!Thats all folks.......
Welcome from Tacoma! It is a small world, my Grandparents operated a Salvage yard in Olympia from the forties thru the late 80's, they did buisness with Poages Automotive thru the years, we used to party with his son or grandson Steve which died in a tragic accident years ago. Crazy World, Mark
