    Hi,
I'm interested in acquiring a vintage Snap On dwell tach meter.
There are several models and variants: MT816, MT816B, MT715, MT 416 etc.

Only wanted for basic tuning of a few stock vintage vehicles, Chevrolet 235, 327, Ford Model A, Ford 8N, Volvo 122S etc., have done just fine with feeler gauges etc.
    Nothing high tech, high performance.

Asking for insight / info on models/decades/accuracy etc.
    Thanks, Fred The Cat

I bought a snap on dwell meter at th ex last swap meet. And it didn’t work when I got it home. I have had great luck with vintage RAC dwell meters

Lincoln bought used in '68 ... I check the batteries for leakage every few years; have repaired the wiring going into case a few times.
If I had to buy one today, it wouldn't be Snap-On ... Look for a Cal-equipt, RAC, Sears, etc. made in USA HPIM7614.JPG

I had a Mac brand that I had for years and never a problem. But then again I always kept it clean and in its original case.

Got rid of it just because everything I has was electronic...
