Looks great, man!! It's exciting and also scary as hell when you're at this point, ain't it? I'm always afraid that after I've come so far, I might somehow screw the pooch on the thing. Makes me sweat like a whore in church.
Hey guys. I know the outline on the flames isn't for everyone but I really like it. It is done with a pin stripe bursh and each hair is a stroke. It took me one full day just to do it. Really looks good in person and is a little different.
In a sea of flamed rods yours is going to stand out.....and for good reasons in my mind."You know man, the truck with the cat hair flames!".....it's got a signature now. I love it when someone tries something different in this hobby......doesn't always work though. I think it's the fact that you didn't go half measures and try and do it quick that makes the difference. Felix
I hear ya Larry. Better be quick. Thanks for the name. Now all I have to do is wet sand and put 3 more coats of clear on it then cut and buff it. I hope I can live through it. Thanks for all the replies. Even yours Larry. LOL!
I like the striping on the flames... had to take a long time to do those...and the panel ain't bad either...lookin' good...!!! R-
I love your panel truck, it has come out looking amazing and will cause accidents where ever you go, there will also be multiple of whip lash cases from people snapping there necks to see the truck when you drive by them ! WOW . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
