8 years ago today, I hauled Snoopy home. What a great memory.

 

And Snoop has been hauling you around ever since!

 

When your daughter wants to go to the beach, you might as well go in style

 

Nice! That’s how important family memories are made.

 

Put Snoopy into Hibernation this afternoon, just had to get a quick video before pulling into the garage.

 

Well the road into Snoopy's Hibernation Garage is still partially snowed in, but I was able to walk in & check on Snoopy, appears he had a good winters rest !

 

We can't seem to get over winter here either although today is nice. Haven't had and hail or snow for a whole day!
Won't be long 'til you can get Snoopy out.

This is got to be the best “Hot-Rod”story I’ve ever heard!!!
Just the fact that you’re into it being younger, kinda like me…I’m a little older than you, but not a lot! And also the fact that all these guys and people that were associated with it, are still alive and in the same town!!!
Specially, this modern age where everybody moves around so much!!!
Need to write a novel about this one!

 

I sincerely appreciate your comment, I go to a few local shows & Cruise nights every season and I'm lucky if I talk to one person in a year that actually appreciates the story/history of the car, really makes my day to connect with people who truely "get it".

 

Man we all love it though! Hopefully spring finds you guys sooner than later. I’ll tell it to head north for ya

Here too. Booooooo! Was 80 and sunny for almost two weeks, now we're back to snow, lol.... How very Michigan...

I definitely understand your comment here. Seems very few get it, which is why I hang out here among other guys who do. I suspect as many folks ask when you are going to rebuild the car as truly understand just how cool it is the way it is.

Anyway, I’m glad to know you are taking good care of the car. It is one of my favorites here on the HAMB.

 

Thanks for that, Yes the HAMB is my refuge, great to have a place why I don't need to explain why it's not a "cool rat rod", why I haven't put an LS in it, repainted it so it would look better etc. etc.

 

Thank God that car found you. 99/100 people would have tried to IMPROVE it. Or destroyed it completely.

We are finally getting a warm up here in BC this weekend! Been a very cool spring for us. Nice to see Snoopy as always brother! Sadly my coupe is going to stay in hibernation this year with my 56 build taking up all the shop so nowhere to park the coupe. Look forward to seeing summer pics of Snoopy cruising!

 

First Fire Up of 2023 Season !

 

I was hoping for that video! I’ve been melting down here the last few days, hoped that ment you guys got spring

 

Drove Snoopy 35 miles from hibernation location to "home" this evening, purred like a kitten.

 

I shut the garage door last night & thought "the garage door light makes a neat glow on Snoopy" lol

 

So glad you got that car and are the caretaker! Gary

 

First Local Car Show of the Season is tomorrow, my daughter was happy to help clean Snoopy up after I did a grease & oil on him.

 

I’m sure it’s somewhere in these 45 pages but can you show us the front fender mounts? Doing something similar soon
