Move north to get away from the snow. Here's the results of the last blizzard from a couple days ago. I better get to the beer store before it gets any worse...
10 oclock news said we had 11 inches so far and will continue to snow until about 3am. Most snow on record in Dallas. Luckily it has been warm enough the past couple of days and the temp has been high enough today that the roads have not iced up. Problem is that it is going to be in the upper 20s tonight so all the slush is going to freeze for morning commute. Took these at about 4:30
HA!HA! Grits I'm gonna be hitt'n the parking lots in the morning too! I was a Star-Telegram paperboy growing up here in the 60's in Texas and we were out inthe mornings about 2-3:00.... Man the fun we had on the parking lots in the snow. I drove a 53 Plymouth and it was like a tank in the snow. Of course school was always cancelled so when my brother and I finished our routes we would go over on Univerisity Dr. between Forest Park and TCU college(very steep hill) and pull cars up the hill for Fun. We Made some good tip money too. Hey lakester47 ... you remember this too I am sure!!
