Going to be in southern Calif. July 2 thru the 11th. Any shows or swap meets worth going to in the area? Points of interest? Been there many times visiting family so I am not the tourist type and the bride is in tow. Give me some ideas guys. Thanks

I'm from AZ so I'm sure there are other experts out there, but my bride and I always enjoy the Petersen Museum and an evening walk on the Santa Monica Pier. If you like movies and such, Dearly Departed tours is an awesome company with tours of the "bad" side of Hollywood, even including a Helter Skelter tour. Sat night cruise in at Bobs Big Boy in Toluca Lake is always on our schedule. Barris's shop is close by, though always closed when we are there it is a neat photo op if your girl is into history. Don't forget the new Bobs Broiler in Downey, that is on our list for LARS. We always try to fit in a trip to a Mels Diner, the AG decorations always make us feel at home.

On 7/3 there's supposed to be a show in downtown Pomona; it's put on by the Shifters. If you need more info, PM me and I'll dig it up.
