So Cal drags early 70's

Need some help from some of you that were around So Cal drag strips in the early 70's. There was a SS/DA 426 Hemi Dodge Challenger running about that time driven by Jim Welch, anyone have any info/pictures at all on the car and/or it's accomplishments? - or any contact info for Jim?

Ask Mazooma1 here on the HAMB. He photographed many SoCal tracks in that time frame.

 

There is a Jim Welch that lives in Wayne,IL. I don't know if this him. He just finished restoring a pretty famous hemi altered car. I will also contact a good friend that worked for Bill Bagshaw, He seems to keep in contact with the Mopar Guys that ran in the 70's and 80's.
