Is everyone aware that it costs $$$ to get in the parking lot?
    Like $7.00 I think?

And, does anyone know how many parking places it has?
It's not that big an area and their website didn't say...We just might fill it up and then some!?
(Maybe they'll let us double park....)

Dr.J.....i was there last weekend and the Pharoh's c.c (low riders) where having a bbq. they had it right where we're going to be. i counted 35 cool cars with space for about another 20 before going over to the other side to park.

    beach entrance fee is $7.00.

    BBQ 11:00AM-5:00PM.

there where 35 cars from the palm trees to the red line in the center. with parking left over.

that's the correct address. try 1799 W. Paseo Del Mar.

    DIRECTIONS
Take 110 Freeway South Until it Ends on "Gaffey Street" in San Pedro
    Exit Left onto Gaffey Street
Follow Gaffey Street till it ends and veers right at Paseo Del Mar
Turn onto Paseo Del Mar and Travel about a Mile and a Half till you see an Entry Point to White Point / Royal Palms

(There's a Guard Shack, baseball field, kids playground all off to the left).

The parking gate might be closed early, don't remember if it had one of them thar long gate arm things to block us off.Usually, beach parking doesn't start charging til 7am in the summer/8-9am after season.Got a friend who lives down there,I'll try to see if he find out the time for charging.
Also, just got my rear bumper back from the chrome shop and will need a couple of opinions on quaility and straightness.
    thanks,J.D.

Bump.............and a quick little tidbit of info. I just picked up the last of t-shirt order for a bunch of t-shirts I designed. I posted 2 different auctions, where you can view the shirts. I can bring a few to the BBQ, but need to sizes as I won't be coming with a ton.

    Thanks.

The 4th shirt in the 2nd auction. I like that one with the arch going over that early sixties car. Ya got that in black LRG size that ya can bring to the BBQ with ya for me by chance? Let me know, eh?

took this off the Locations website... it has to do with parking..

    PARKING
Parking is normally plentiful - even on weekends. Sometimes if you arrive early or in the off Season the Parking Guard Shack may be Closed - But You are still Expected to Pay for Parking and should do so at the Bottom of the Hill at the Machine Pictured Below - the Machine takes Coins, Bills & Credit Cards. Parking from 7am to 9am is $2 or you can Park All Day for $6. The lot is Closed at Night so make sure you don't get locked in.

There is an Access Road Leading down from the Main Parking Shack at the top to the Beach Below. Go Right at the Bottom to Reach Royal Palms. Turning Left will take you to White Point.
