I didn't recieve any Instructions and my ohms meter is lets say damaged and there are NO markings on the switch any one have a Diagram?
The back spade is fused hot in, next spade up is taillights, running lights, interior lights. The next is headlights. The last is headlights high beam. If you pull switch out once thats running/tail lights. Twice is for headlights. Three times is hibeams. I wired headlight and highbeam together so you pull the switch all the way and your headlights come on, then wired that wire into a dimmer switch for high and low. Simple no?
Its a 3 position switch , it has doesn't have Hi Lo, thanks for the info ... starting at the straight spade connector, with the pull switch facing up... do i go Clockwise or counter with your instructions
Been a couple of years since I wired mine. I would put the hot on and try different combinations until I got it right. Or wire up a test light. I think the brown fiber part is stamped I ,H B etc. If it's the same switch.
If it's like the one I got from So-Cal, it's the same as a mid sixties GM switch. I ended up having to replace it and the new was from my local NAPA was for a '68 Chevy p/u. It was identical, including the Hecho en Mexico stamp on the side. If you still need a diagram, I still have the one that came with my So-cal switch and will post it. Vance
