My friend had a 57 Dodge and it looked like someone took a ball peen hammer to the stainless and D & L did a great job restoring it.

need to post what part of So Cal that you are - a few years back I used Big D's Chrome Plating in Santa Fe - - 562-254-0176 - did trim polishing & chrome & Brite Anodizing of thin aluminum on OT Ranchero - call to see if even open right now
