I am a transplanted Texan living fast in S0-CAL and more specifically in San Diego. I have met a few of the Lifters Car club and seem like a great bunch of guys. Well I have been into cars for about 15 years and I am relatively new to traditional or REAL hot rods. I own a '68 SS Chevelle 396 all stock, 1968 Dodge Charger R/T 440 car, 1993 SLP Firehawk and 4 Volkswagen bugs. Yes I said Volkswagens. A 1955 bug, 1957 Bug, 1961 ragtop bug, 1966 convertible bug. Before you start bashing the VWs be careful because my 1961 ragtop has surprised many V8 cars at Carlbad raceway( R.I.P)over the years running in the mid 12s in the quarter all motor. Most importantly I now own a field fresh Arizona 1930 Tudor sedan that will be built traditionally. It is going to be un-chopped and full fendered , running a flatty with 2 pot intake, OG 16x4 Ford steelies with wide whites, banjo rear end. Sounds like it will fun and I will be asking alot of questions. Thanks for your help ahead of time.
