I was able to drive my 1952 Chevy Styleline Deluxe to work for the first time today. She howls like a banshee, the rear end was bone dry until a couple of days ago... but she bounces along nicely at 65 on the freeway.

Everything works on this car... the radio, the dash lights, the clock... the dome light even comes on when you open the door.

    crazy!

The plan is to drive it this summer as it - then the new driveline!

163 is beautiful this time of year. I agree with Yankbuilt. You dont look so good, I think a drive would help. Probably some rightous exaust note and a little wind will be all you need.
    Trust me I play doctor.

congratulations. Always nice to add that "comfort" level in the back of your head.

    Its all downhill from here!

awesome. cool pic too. sometimes when i get to work i wanna drive right past and keep on going til i get somewhere different. like new orleans, or memphis, or austin, or LA, or...

yeesh, i guess i need a road trip.

  15. Nice one, I did the exact same thing this morning with my '50! Still in need of plenty of adjustments but with a warm sunny morning I couldn't resist. It's parked out front and I'm not getting much work done!

Aw, yeah! Fridays are for driving the special ones. I drove the '69 Midget today. It's not at all special, but the '58 is in transition, not running and third in line on my schedule. Good on you that you could take baby for some exercise.

    Edit: spellung

    250. Powerglide. 12 volt. Rear end with maybe 3:55s. Upgrade the brakes in the front.. Lower it to the tops of the whitewall white - and drive, drive, drive!

  30. That 6 is beautiful...now that I work at home I can't do the Friday cruise though I often jump into the Riviera or the dearly departed panel truck and cruise into town for a couple of tacos...
